Phlebotomy Technician

PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN COURSE REQUIREMENTS (Due Monday before the 1st day of class):

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Must be a US Citizen or Valid Green Card Holder

  • Valid Government Issued ID (Driver’s License) 

  • Social Security Card

  • Negative TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray 

Phlebotomy Technicians collect blood from patients and prepare the samples for testing. Most work in hospitals and clinics, but some collect blood for donation purposes. Phlebotomy Technicians are important members of the health care team and often need to explain the blood-drawing procedure and put patients at ease.

Our Phlebotomy program is in person 4 weeks and costs $950 including the $150 non-refundable application fee.

Upon successful completion of the program requirements, students are prepared to take The National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam.

  • TB Skin Test

  • BLS (CPR) Certification

  • Liability Insurance

  • All medical supplies needed for the course

The cost of all Phlebotomy courses is $950 with a $400 deposit (this includes the $150 non-refundable registration application fee) which is applied toward your tuition. Included in the tuition is textbook, TB skin test, BLS (CPR), liability insurance and all medical supplies needed for the course. If you are not able to pay the entire tuition up front you will be placed on our payment plan, with payments made by invoice or automatic draft/payments. Tuition must be paid in full before the course ends.
