The programs at Acute Healthcare Institute are designed to provide students with the necessary skills to be the vital part of any dynamic healthcare team.
We currently offer Phlebotomy Technician, Nursing Assistant, and Medical Assistant programs.
The admission requirements for all programs are:
NURSE AIDE COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Students must be a US Citizen, at least 18 years of age, and have High School Diploma or GED
Students must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
CLEAR Criminal Background Check
Negative Drug Screen
Valid Government Issued ID (Driver’s license)
Social Security Card
Negative PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
Able to pass a physical exam
The following are required dependent upon the program or clinical site:
1. Physical – see physical form
2. Proof of immunization: TB skin test and influenza (during flu season)
3. Proof of health insurance
3. Proof of COVID vaccination
